The shower rooms at AZC Rijsbergen were very outdated, difficult to keep clean and required a lot of maintenance. As you can see in the ‘before’ photos above! This meant a clear challenge for COA and SPIE: a sustainable renovation that would solve these problems structurally.

We replaced the old raised shower trays with level shower floors with a slope, so water drains away properly and no longer ends up outside the area. All walls were finished with our Walloop eco panels, whose core is made from recycled household waste. In this way, we directly contribute to the circular economy. With sealant-free corner finishes, we made the rooms low-maintenance and hygienic.
